Famous!

Guess what I am famous now!!! This past week 2 things happened to confirm this!! ONE: 1 won something off Gifted Giveaways and it came in the mail!!! I know that doesn't make me famous, BUT its still fun and exciting to win something. I think I will host a give away on there soon!! And 2nd: My son and husband were featured on a blog... a pretty famous blog. OH YES. A picture of them was put on Kristina P's snuggie sightings !!!! OMG its like Christmas all over again!! I think she did it So I would write a blog... I know she misses her weekly tributes from me.... She is also a mental health professional, so I am not sure why she is aiding in this really unhealthy obsession of that I have for her.... OK I am not OBSESSED I just think she is cool and funny. not obsessed.... there are blogs on here that are NOT about her!!! Its a pretty cute picture of Micah and Micah hiding in my snuggie... I guess she did not want to use this pic:




Yes, that is really me.... yes i am wearing my PJs, and Uggs... Yes that is a Sham wow... and No that is not my car.. and yes it is like 11 PM Christmas Day.... Its ok if you stop reading my blog I will understand.

School is KICKING my butt.... I don't even want to talk about it. Also I am sorry I don't read or comment on blogs anymore I pretty much suck so it will be ok, and I am only going to take one class a semester from now on. ME = FAIL. OH well better luck next time.

BEST BLOG EVER

So I am not sure, how I pulled it off. But I got a celebrity to agree to be interviewed by ME!!! Not only did she agree but she returned the interview in a timely matter and with pictures!! Score one for me!! If you can guess it is KRISTINA P!! now you may remember when I met her if not you can read and see a picture HERE.

A little bit about our guest: She is a very funny chick that blends the best and worse of pop culture together, which often leads me to wonder if she is serious and did she really just say that!?!?!? She also picked me out of 330 people to win her grand prize on her last give away. I was shocked! I probably should have asked her a little bit more about her....... But uh she is really nice, funny, and is a social worker. I will have to say that my favorite thing about Kristina, is that she always leaves me a comment no matter how crazy my post or how late or early it was posted.... thank you. HOLY CRAP... i hope this interview is not the down fall of her... what did Kristina just do!?!? 1. Do you remember that time we met and I mauled you with my baby stroller?

With the help of intensive weekly therapy, and Valium, I have been able to move past that incident. And by “move past that incident”, I mean have daily night terrors about it, where images of Dr. Phil and Mario Lopez flash before my eyes. You can’t even imagine the horror.

2. Yeah, that was an awesome day huh?

Yes, awesome. Like having to watch puppies and rainbows be tortured, awesome.



3. You work with at risk youth.... that kinda makes you almost like Oprah huh??

Are you saying I’m fat? Yes, I am just like Oprah. If Oprah punched kids in the face and called them derogatory names. I am very good at my job.

4. Have any of these "youth" tried to stab, stock, hurt you? I am kinda worried for your safety....

I don’t know what “stock” means, but for the sake of this interview, I am going to assume you mean “stalk.” Sadly, no. I really wish I had a great story to tell where I was shanked by a kid. However, my coworker drives a van that we call “The Kidnapper Van”, and that is honestly more frightening than anything a kid could ever do to me.



5. Am I the weirdest person you have ever met through blogging?

I would say you’re the third weirdest person I have met through blogging. I once met a person who likes to eat pennies and whose role model is OJ Simspon, and I met another person who was institutionalized in a State hospital for a while, so I would say you come in a close third.

6. Do you talk to me on Facebook, because you are scared of what I might do if you don't??

Yes. Please don’t Poke me or send me a pink sheep.

7. Wanna do some homework for me?

If your homework entails laying around on your sofa, watching “The Bachelor” and making puns about how he’s a pilot and he can land his plane in my airport of love, then yes, I will do your homework for you.

Sadly, no. This would mean I would have to spend some time in a Walmart, and I only shop at classy, high brow places like The Dollar Tree and The Salvation Army.

11. Your love of the snuggie has gotten kinda out of hand huh?? A joke gone horribly horribly wrong

I think it really depends on your perspective. Some people might say horribly wrong, others might say horribly awesome. Honestly, as you know, The Snuggie is life changing. Just like Moses parting the Red Sea, Noah building an ark, and other miracles of yore, The Snuggie is our modern day miracle.



12. Wouldn't it be cool if we were neighbors??

Well, sadly, my Naked Neighbors apparently received the gift of modesty for Christmas, as well as curtains, so their exploits have been lacking lately. But, we do need someone to fill their rather well endowed shoes, so if you are willing to be naked in front of your well-lit bedroom window, or have sex on your balcony, in plain view of your neighbors, you are in.

Happy Twenty Ten!!! How futuristic of me! I think I will say Twenty Ten instead of Two-thousand and ten... how lame and old fashion is that???? Also where is my flying car and robot maid, while we are at it???

So to update you on my revolutions.... I think most of them are broken within 10 days so that is why I did not say exercise and loose weight. Also that is on going and does not even deserve to be up there with my other IMPORTANT ones.

1: Stick to my budget!! Why yes I have for 3 days.

2: Classes start Wednesday so I will update you later in the week. I have not received my Astronomy book in the mail... It started in Connecticut and was last seen leaving Denver... So here is hoping that it gets here Wednesday.

3. I have not had any diarrhea this year. *FIST PUMP*

4. Wrote my dinner blog and now I am writing this blog *DOUBLE FIST PUMP* I should be on that crap show on MTV or something I hear/read that is all those kids do, throw their fist up in the air and wave them like they just don't care...... LAME

5. Not pregnant.... I still have my IUD up in my hoo-ha... for all those concerned about me having another baby... i will take a picture of when the Physicians Assistant at the OB/GYN takes it out because you all wanted to know when I am having another baby and this is the beginning of it.. =) I am thinking like March-ish

6. So I have broken this resolution, It probably did not even last 24 hours.... It is hard to be nice to your husband 24/7.

7. I am on Facebook 24/7(probably the reason for the failure of #6) I do have a cafe to run..... My farm bit the dust and was ruined. And I got kicked out of my Sorority. AND I need to see all the crap my rich "friends" from high school got and got their "awesome" kids.......

8. I ordered my cookbook!! AWESOME. I was told by JennyMac that I should cook from Giada. I don't know about this 1) Giada is HOT and SKINNY.... how can I trust a skinny cook? 2. I like Italian and I know how to cook Italian. But I am keeping her as my back up. Can I just say how humbling and awesome it to have someone like JennyMac write you an email?? Holy Cow. Thanks !

So did you notice that I have 8 resolutions and then the next paragraph I talked about how the number 7 is awesome and this and that blah blah blah.... I went back and added the cooking one after the fact.... YES i am the future teacher of your children... I am starting to rethink all this. HOWEVER, I took a test on the facebook and I did say I was a way smarter then a 5th grader so I am safe teaching K-6th.

100!!!

Can you believe I have wasted enough time on blog that I have written 100 posts??? I can not believe it!! To celebrate I decided to go to Wal Mart!! Oh yes, If you have the facebook I am sure you have seen the link to The People of Wal Mart page. And I am sure most of you that clicked on it wasted a good bit of time on there! I did have to go to make sure I was not on there.... To be honest, there have been times when I have had to run to the store not looking my best........... But I still look 110 times better then all of those people put together. Now I am wary to go to Wal-Mart without my A game for fear of ending up on this site. But it will never happen because I do not dress like a hooker, gansta, or cross dress...... I doubt the owners of the site will get excited about a mom in sweats with her hair in a pony tail! So If you do not want to go to the site for whatever reason... You are at work, fear of you being on there.... OR what happened to me .... I swear I saw a relative on there....... Yes I will not say anymore. I will not post that picture because this is a "family web site" But I will post a few of my favorite pictures ..... Ah what a way to spend your 100th post... some do give-aways, some do awards... i post about the people of Wal-Mart, life is good.

A is for Award!

So as all of you know I am pretty awesome, Its why you come here! And you also know that I have been given a few awards and that I have not given them out... I know I AM SUCH A LOSER!!!! But we know that. So here I will give out some of my awards because I am cool and want to share a few cool blogs with you!!



And the "I give a good blog award" goes to.......... Shanna over at Three Men and a little Lady! I love Shanna she is so stinking funny. FUNNY.... She is almost a pediatric dentist... still got a few more class or hours or something. Anybody who wants to be a Dentist let alone a pediatric one... must have some balls and she does. Next we have my newest award "The Super Comment Panda Award" I know Kristina P thinks she should get it, but she probably got 5 of them today so she can say its from me too.... But I have a few winners for this because They pretty much comment on my blog all the time... And they are:

Super Special Sunday Post

Wow lots of stuff going on today.... So much so that it needed to be blogged about...... Not going to be funny OR IS IT.....

1. Guess who got into a University??? OH It was me! Yep, and it wasn't that crack pot, fly by night internet night school... Its a real life University!! Utah Valley University to be exact! I know some will poo-poo on this and that is fine because we have the whole school rival thing going... BUT WHATEVA .. I AM GOING TO SCHOOL IN JANUARY, and majoring in education. And that is awesome. I did for real. The whole posting on the other school worried many of my friends and family and they told me that I should go to UVU... (Thanks Kim and Kelson) I did not think I could get in for this reason and that... But then I did, it was exciting... Then I found out that they pretty much let anybody in......... But I am still excited and everyone should be happy for me.

2. Ms. JennyMac thought it would be awesome to give me another blog award. Maybe this time I will actually give it out... I am bad about that because I don't read to many blogs... and the ones I find, I think I scare them away from coming to my blog because I leave my weirdo comments, that I think are awesome and funny... So I pretty much only read blog of people that come and find me so they know what they are getting into. I would really hate it if someone thought they had to shut down their blog due to me.... So I won't go trolling.... I will wait to be trolled. I did try the whole SITS thing... notice how their button is not on my page... I just didn't get and felt it was to commercial.... So Jenny Mac I will give out this award .... That is really nice of you and I did tear up a bit... Hub was sad that the award did not include $600 and cookies... please work on that for next time.

3. So Kristina P.... you know we all love her... bless her heart. Is having a super mega give away of like 100 things... Can you believe it.... But it ends tonight at 10 PM Mountain Standard Time... And she is not posting the winners till Wednesday.... what the H kristina.... Do you know your contest has taking forever... and in the time span of it... I have gotten accepted to a University, started a business with legit plans and my supplies will be here before I know if I won...., changed a billion diapers, cleaned my house... I just thought It need to be said.... But I still LOVE you even if I don't win... And probably won't since over 300 people have entered... HELL. I need those kinds of numbers on my blog........I would never have to work again with all the money I would get from ads.....

5. Last night Hub and I went out with some good friends to celebrate Owen's birthday.... Things I learned: cardboard straws not good, I can only be so "green" and I learned a lot about my husband. I still love him but its so fresh in my mind and Target bags really do hold a lot of puke... so keep them in your cars!!!

Dear Wizard of Oz,

I love you. I love that you are coming to the movie Theater for one night only... OH YEAH.. I hope you heard about that and got your tickets.. Because guess what I did and I am going, ITS GOING TO BE AWESOME. What, what, what?? You did not hear? Oh suck its September 23rd at 7 pm at about 400 theaters across the USA. Just FYI.

So I LOVE the Wizard of Oz, who doesn't?? If you don't you're either a guy, then its just OK or a good movie. If you are female and don't... Well that is up there with the S'mores and you just need to leave . So before you pee your pants... HERE IS THE WEB PAGE. OK now that is out of the way lets talk Wizard of Oz.

I love the original Judy Garland movie. I am sure that is what most people like... Most of the other movies are weird.... and the books are long and kinda like movie. So the Judy Garland is the most known well that and the high school plays... You know what I was in the Wizard of Oz when I was a Sophomore... GASP I was a munchkin with a speaking part! and an Emerald City person... which everyone had to be if you did not have a speaking part in those scenes...... Any way it so fun... expect the Emerald City part... I HATED THE COSTUMES... So the high school drama club had NO BUDGET... thats fine... but having us wear camouflage pants and our black cast T-shirt... NOT COOL NOT COOL AT ALL. Guess who did not have a say in that part...... If it was me.. we would have all been in something green from our own personal clothes... Like most normal high school drama departments with money. Ugh that was Spring 1998 and I still have issues.



Sorry for the high school flash back, but it happens when you blog IT REALLY DOES! But my munchkin part in the play really was what pushed me more in love with the movie. I am all about it and Oz trivia.... Like the ruby slippers are in the Smithsonian, and they were sliver in the book. But because Techna Color was all new the movie makers wanted to use RED so they would show up better and be awesome... Its cool it worked. And all the urban legends about the movie are kinda weird. Like the one about how you can see a man that hung himself during the scene when they meet the Cowardly Lion ... or Tin Man I can't remember... which is probably why I have never seen it OR because its not true. Or that cast members had a really hard time getting work after that movie. Well anyways you can spend all day looking that crap up the web to see if its true... I don't want to. But the best one... Wizard of Oz with Led Zeppelins Dark Side of the Moon... Uh Leah please stop smoking crack.... UH No here is a web site of some guy who has done it... HERE
